A gorgeous ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this beautiful piece features an incredible moonstone cabochon resting within a golden bezel. The moonstone has an alluring appeal, emitting strong flashes of blue luminescence. Natural inclusions?appear as if they are a very fine glitter throughout the translucent stone, enhancing the already phenomenal glow. Curling vines adorn the shoulders of the ring as leaves, four on each side, display fine vein and scissor edge details. A thin bar decorates the sides of the bezel, and the band tapers with a channel detail. This ring is absolutely stunning and perfect for a moonstone lover!
Measurements:?The ring fits a finger size of 6.5 but could be easily resized. The central moonstone measures approximately 11/16" in diameter and 1/8" deep. The underside of the band tapers to about 2.1mm. When worn, the ring rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition:?The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The moonstone is free of chips and scratches and is securely set within its bezel.?
