A lovely beaded chain necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 9kt yellow gold, this feminine piece features 18 lovely green jadeite beads that are symmetrically patterned along a fine link chain. The natural jadeite exhibits wonderful shades of vibrant moss greens with subtle marbling and the gold chain is comprised of sections of delicate round links. The chain secures with a small spring-ring clasp at the back and a small link close to the clasp is stamped with a "9CT" gold purity mark. With it's extensive length and secure clasp, the necklace could be worn in a variety of ways, alone or paired with a complementary pendant, as a single long chain, doubled or even tripled. It's a perfect layering piece and would make a wonderful addition to the modern woman's collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 46" long. The beads on average measure approximately 5.5mm in diameter.
?Condition:? The necklace is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain or to the jadeite beads. The spring-ring is secure and in excellent working condition.
